# Proof-of-Play mechanism

The Proof-of-Play mechanism regulates the newly minted $MOXY token and airdrops these new tokens to Moxyan to incentivize them to play and contribute to the Moxy platform.

Every day, there will be new $MOXY minted and airdropped to players and contributors to the ecosystem through the PLAY-SCORE-MOXY framework, where **PLAY** determines the total amount of $MOXY in the daily reward pool and **SCORE** determines the $MOXY each individual will receive
